Information About The Coronavirus

News about the Coronavirus (known as COVID-19) has been making the headlines. Human-to-human transmission of the new coronavirus has been verified but is limited in the United States. As of February 27, 2020, there are currently no confirmed cases in Ohio.

While, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) continues to stress that risk is low for the general public, as a part of its response, the CDC is encouraging everyone to prepare in case the situation changes. The agency is currently updating guidance for childcare and K-12 settings around COVID-19, which will be reposted on the CDC website once it is finalized.
